Using 1-800-Volunteer.org, Volunteer Mobile connects volunteers who wish to serve with over 250 area agencies. Examples of activities include projects such as building a community garden or working at a food bank, or organizing a volunteer team for a corporate day of service.

Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program

The HandsOn South Alabama VITA Program offers free tax help to low- to moderate-income (generally, $49,000 and below) people who cannot prepare their own tax returns. Certified volunteers prepare basic tax returns to help YOU save money! To locate the nearest VITA site, call 1-800-906-9887.

Impact Club 

A  youth service organization that engages middle and high school students in volunteer opportunities that provide vital aid to non-profit organizations while building skills, leadership and civic  responsibility.

Medical Reserve Corps (SWAMRC)

The region's Medical Reserve Corps is comprised of medical and non-medical professionals trained throughout the year to prepare for local disasters or emergency situations.  During times of peace, the MRC is also engaged in healthy community initiatives to improve the standard of living in our area.Corporate Volunteer Program Provides businesses with coordination, organization and management resources for their employee volunteer programs.
